Another World - An exhibition by Shaun Tan and David Miller

YAVA Gallery and Arts Hub is proud to announce a major exhibition by Academy Award winning Australian artist Shaun Tan from 6 December until 2 February 2020. Shaun has been exhibited internationally and YAVA is proud to host him in Healesville this summer.

Shaun’s illustrations, sculpture and books can be viewed along with the complementary artistic works from local award-winning artist David Miller who is also a much loved children’s book author/illustrator.

Their unique and captivating approaches to storytelling are displayed side by side in the exhibition Another World. Shaun Tan will exhibit original works from his book ‘The Rules of Summer’ and sculptures from his ‘The Singing Bones’, together with David Miller’s original paper sculptures from numerous children’s books.

Having Shaun Tan in the Yarra Valley is an incredible surprise treat for all leading up to Christmas and the school holiday period. The gallery is thrilled to have his work on the walls alongside talented local paper sculptor and author David Miller.

Books from both of the artists will be available at the Gallery.
