Reopening on 7 November 2020. The Rain Hayne and Shine Farmyard is set in the picturesque rural area of the Mornington Peninsula.
Specially designed for children, but enjoyed by animal lovers of all ages the farm features a large variety of friendly farm animals with an emphasis on 'hands-on' activities. There are always plenty of animals to feed, cuddle and pat and usually, there is a baby to be bottle-fed and sometimes visitors can be fortunate enough to witness a live birth.
Children love having a ride on one of the farm ponies, or Robyn the horse (rides currently not available while restrictions in place) while the adults can join the children for a free hayride. In addition to farm animals, there are also emus and dingos.
There are undercover areas, indoor and outdoor picnic areas and gas barbeques (bring your own food) and a small playground. Indoor areas currently unavailable due to Covid-19 restrictions. Kiosk opening soon.
Gather your family and friends and come to the farm for 'A Farmtastic Day Out.'
